BritishStirlingswNO MORE QUICK FIX!!
Rushing never works with animals. Horses don't wear watches, we need to work with our horses not against them. To build that true relationship with a bridle horse takes time. With hard economic times, the hustle and bustle of everyday life, many horses are not given that chance to become as refined as they could be. Randy Byers is taking a stand, NO MORE 30 DAY HORSES! The practice of 30, 60 day horse training needs to stop!

Western Dressage is about building a "Bridle Horse". There is a big difference in horses and how they are "started", "developed", or "finished". So many "horse people" are quick to take a horse from a snaffle to a shanked bit and call them trained. They may ride okay and have basic control, but most are a long way from the refinement of a true "Bridle Horse". Not all horses will make a "Bridle Horse" – just as not all humans will be an Olympic sprinter. Some horses take a longer time to develop into a "finished" bridle horse. There is no time limit and training to this level requires constant patients and practice to build your new "Bridle Horse". Some horseman will even say, " No horse, is ever completely finished!"
